Our first
event of 2008 was at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX for Monster Jam on
SPEED TV. In qualifying Jurassic had a coolant hose burst but was quickly
fixed and ready for the first round of racing. Somehow things were changed
and Maniac was not allowed to qualify, so as a last place qualifier we
were matched against Max D who is the 2nd fastest qualifier, on a new
style track. Both of us fell to our first round opponents, but freestyle
was up next.
Jurassic Attack stole the show in the United Kingdom this past weekend!! Monster Jam Europe rolled into Cardiff's Millenium Stadium for two giant shows featuring Don Frankish behind the wheel of Jurassic Attack. Don took the truck for an incredible ride in freestyle, winning the competition with a jaw-dropping save that is an immediate contender for Move of the Year!! This high profile freestyle win was a huge accomplishment for the Frankish Enterprises team as the 2007 season winds to a close. Check out some of Don's run below, video courtesy of YouTube.com!!

We have added photos from the Monster Truck Thunder Drags event held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ back on September 8th where Don in Maniac took home the big freestyle victory!! We promised you a cool new surprise and here it is!! Jurassic Attack is getting a new body and a new look!! We wanted to offer all of you a first look at the new paint scheme here on the site. The lettering has yet to be applied, but we are very excited about the new coloring. Kristy and the new look Jurassic Attack will be in Tijuana, Mexico this weekend along with Maniac for the Monster Trucks Showdown!

Welcome Kristy Edge, the new driver of Jurassic Attack!! Kristy made her debut behind the wheel at the Monster Spectacular event in Chilliwack, British Columbia and did a fantastic job for her first weekend out. Since then, she has been driving and gaining more experience piloting Jurassic Attack. Kristy is a star in the making, check out some video of her driving from the past couple weeks!!

Maniac cleaned up and new Jurassic Attack driver Mike Bell performed solidly in his debut this past weekend at the Tournament of Destruction in Tucson, AZ. Don Frankish was on his game, winning "The Chase" racing competition Saturday night and turning in a great freestyle performance. Mike's first show was Friday night, and after some time getting acclimated to the truck, ended the weekend on a high note with a solid freestyle. Jurassic Attack and Maniac displayed at this year's Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas, NV. Don and Nathan had a great time meeting all the fans at the Double Down and Pit Party events, and they enjoyed getting to sit back and watch a wild World Finals competition. Next up on the team's schedule is Tucson, AZ where they will compete in the Tournament of Destruction April 13th-14th. Stop by the Photos section to see a few pics from the World Finals display.
We're off to Las Vegas to display at the World Finals this week, and we have now posted a review of our season to date!! "Tales of the Tour" will take you through our entire first quarter, the highs and the lows--read it all now in the Results section. It was back to Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA for the Frankish Enterprises team this past weekend, as Jurassic Attack and Maniac stepped up their performance in their third weekend out this year. Don Frankish in Maniac defeated Natural High to move into the racing Finals, but a RII problem would keep Don from being able to face Tropical Thunder for the overall victory. Both Maniac and Jurassic Attack showed what the team is all about in freestyle, with big air, wheelies, and two well put together runs that had the fans on their feet. A huge thanks to Hector Palafox for sending photos from the show for the third weekend in a row. We greatly appreciate his efforts, check out the pictures in our Photos section. Next week its back up to Canada for a weekend event at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta. We'll see you there!!

Jurassic Attack and Maniac were in San Diego, CA Saturday night for Monster Jam at Qualcomm Stadium!! The team's next stop will be back in Anaheim, as they return to Angels Stadium for another stop on the Monster Jam tour. Watch for a new "Tales of the Tour" as soon as Don gets a chance to check in, but in the meantime we would like to thank Hector Palafox and Neil Barlow for sending in photos from Anaheim, San Diego, and last November's Montreal CAM show. The Frankish Enterprises team headed to Anaheim, CA this past weekend to kick off the 2007 season with Monster Jam at Angels Stadium!! The year didn't start off the greatest, as Maniac experienced mechanical difficulties after his qualifying run, and Jurassic Attack was unable to make the call for the second round of racing. But Nathan was able to come back for freestyle and put on a good show, earning a score of 17. Watch out San Diego, because the team is headed your way this weekend and is ready to take Qualcomm Stadium by storm!!

Well, its been a bit since our last update, but rest assured, there is lots of good stuff coming your way!! Don and Nathan have stayed mighty busy the past month, including big shows for AMP Live Events, Checkered Flag Productions, and Chris Arel Motorsports. This past weekend, Jurassic Attack and Maniac performed at the Extreme Monster Truck Nationals at the National Western Events Center in Denver, CO. On hand was a film crew from the TV show "Race Central TV", which airs on the Altitude Sports & Entertainment Network. Both Don and Nathan participated in interviews in the 30-minute program, and it was great exposure for the Frankish Enterprises team and all our great sponsors!!

The team was down at the Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, AZ this weekend for the Tire Pros Truck & 4x4 Nationals. Maniac and Jurassic Attack tore up the track during four freestyle only shows Saturday & Sunday. Pictures below are courtesy of Lauren Z. Bonar of TheMonsterBlog.com. Big update today!! Lots of new information on the Schedule page, and a detailed recap of what the team has been up to since our last update in the latest "Tales of the Tour", found in the Results section. The team is currently in Tuba City, AZ performing at the local fair, and the below pictures are courtesy of Lauren Z. Bonar and The Monster Blog--one of Jurassic in action and one of Don & Nathan participating in the local parade throwing Spitz Sunflower Seeds to the crowd!! They will be submitting a full gallery once the weekend is over, so be watching for that as well!!

Hello and welcome to our latest website!! This is our third makeover on the internet for the Jurassic and Maniac race team. It is already the best one ever by far with more information and multimedia than in the past. Our goal is to keep things up to date with the latest news, results, videos and photos. As well we are wanting to do a little section frequently that we are calling "Tales Of The Tour" to keep people coming back here on a regular basis--this will be posted in the Results section. It will consist of anything in our world of day-to-day work and travels. It might range from our latest way of killing time on the road or at home, to our thoughts on other teams or events. We will also cover upcoming events that our team, along with the Firestorm ride truck team, has been producing in Canada, in addition to our full, up-to-date list of our trucks' upcoming events.
